Camping Memories
Girl friends
Taking trips
Camping with her
Was as memorable as my first sleepover
Getting there
Playing Phase 10 and Uno
Eating smores
Tremendously lofty trees
Water never ending like the ocean
Vision was everything natural
Laughter rises
Jokes Stories Memories being shared
Teasing each other
Weary eyes go to sleep
Packing up Riding home
Dreading the time to tell the news
Having to move
Together weeping
Camping Trips finished.

Wind Dream
Walking through the valley
Soaking up the scenery
Closing my eyes
Leaving for paradise
As my hair takes flight
Eyes open
Trees silent
Taking a breath
Breeze comes again
In the distance I hear it
a most magical sound
The missing link to paradise
Hearing the chimes tinkle together like metal whispers
Clink Clink Clink
Waking up
Finding it was only a dream.

Clouds
Clouds like whipped sugar fluff
Flare and bursts of light
I was eyeless
Magical Magnificent Majestical sight
Gods creation is a new day
You loved that would never end
Sun and clouds wave and talk to me
When I glance at them
Sun playing hide and seek with the clouds
Too easy to find
By its sunbursts of light
Seeping through each passing cloud.

Too Late
First time to ask someone to prom
So exhilarated I felt like a little 5 year old kid getting a balloon
Engulfing a cup of sweet, sugary, strawberry kool-aid
Waking up going outside and smelling the summer morning breeze
Chasing boys in kindergarten trying to get them in your grasp
Girls, giggling in the late evening about their crushes
Finding out he was going with someone else
Felt like when you cut your finger chopping a vegetable
Drinking sour milk on a hot day
Someone really sick and throwing up
An animal that has been abused and neglected
A girl shreeking when finding out her best friend was leaving
The thought of him being with her hurt
Being picked last for a game of tag.
